So, the last few weeks have been pretty good. :) So, the weekend of the 22nd of January Shelby decided to get us all out of the house. lol We've all been going slightly insane with nothing to do... Actually, there is plenty to do. But most days result in us all lying on the living room floor staring at the ceiling and talking about "the deep things of life." haha not really... about "the deep things"... but we really do lie on the floor staring at the ceiling. Most of the time we talking about how we have no lives and how lame we are. SO bless-ed Shelby decided to do something about it. We didn't really know... but all of the sudden people started showing up at our house. haha! But we all went out for Brick Oven pizza. MMMmmmMmm!! I love Brick Oven. I'm glad we had a cool waitress cuz we were all so weird... our first time out of the house in WEEKS! lol I was on this whole "RASPBERRIES" thing cuz Spencer and Bradford brought over the fatty hugest bag of raspberries I'd ever seen. So we were all just saying "Raspberries!" all the time. lol and we were all speaking in British accents. lol I laughed way too hard. ANYWAYS. I got BBQ Chicken... what else would I get? It's my new favorite kind of pizza. Ever since Walgreens was amazing and threw me a pizza party when I left, I've loved BBQ Chicken... cuz that's what they got me. haha! Also, it's fantastically good. ANYWAYS. We get to Brick Oven and there is this kid there doing balloon animals!!! So, we stayed wayyyy too long there waiting our turn. I got an ELEPHANT!!! haha I'm so cool. er... the elephant is so cool. Spencer got a dragon!! Then we got a flower for our waitress's fiance' to give to her. haha Spencer's idea... ::
Anyways... then we came back to our apartment and had a huge pizookie!! I ate... wayyyyyy.... too much.... again... haha it was SO stinkin good though!! This was the group::
Whelp... then we made a pyramid! or, a couple actually... and we were just flippin cool. THEN! We watched a movie. I can't remember what it was right now. ummm... yeah. Apparently it wasn't as awesome as we were. haha
Anyways, that was a pretty fun Saturday. I think it finally got me in the mood to be social. lol The next weekend was pretty sweet too! Saturday was the ward opening social. :) We had it up at the Spring Haven Lodge. It was SO AMAZING!! My ward is officially the coolest ward at BYU. haha we invited a bunch of other wards and it was just amazing. We played around in this jungle gym thing...
I liked that tree. That was a nice tree.
I accidentally ran into a mirror. I came at it at an angle OKAY?! I thought it was a tube you crawl thru cuz the other side was a tube you crawl thru... So... I totally ran into the mirror. haha Jonathan Kiser totally saw. It was kind of embarrassing. haha! But there was a slide and pool tables. PIZZZA. mmm... good stuff. Everyone went and played a huge game of "Never Have I Ever" in the gym and well... I wasn't a huge fan so I just hung out in the main area. I watched ping pong... explored a bit. haha then they played the Michael Jackson DDR game thing on the Wii. It was SO cool! I want to play someday. haha there were like 50 million people watching so I didn't want to play for the first time in front of everyone! haha Then, we went and got smores. :) Roasted over a good ole fashioned camp stove. haha pretty sweet. Then we got kinda bored I guess... I didn't. But everyone else did. SO we came back to Provo and watched a movie at our place. There were a ton of people at our house... All of the people from last week plus like... 20. haha craaaaazy! We watched a movie called... The Fountain... Anyways. It was possibly the WORST movie I've ever seen in my life. lol Like seriously, almost as bad as The Polar Bear King. I got so restless... UGH. I ended up on the floor trying to sleep. lol I couldn't waste a second longer on that stupid movie. Shelby and I started making up our own commentary, so that made it more fun! haha Then we played a game called "The game of things" and we all just made fun of the movie the whole time. It was kind of exciting. Seriously though, the guy had a tree growing out of his STOMACH! Ugh... it makes me cringe just thinking I wasted two hours of my life on that thing.
Sunday the 30th I got a text message at like 11:00 asking if our apartment would be in charge of Ward Prayer that night.WHAT?! That's like making cookies for the whole ward... and we couldn't even go to the store. WOW. Anyways, we were awesome and pulled it all together! lol I made Peanut Butter cookies, which was funny cuz I don't even really like Peanut Butter cookies... but that's all I had stuff for. Laree made banana bread and gave up her chocolate covered pretzels. Paige made random cookies... and Maichael and Alexandra from two doors down made us some cookies too. :) YAYY! It was really fun having the whole ward in our apartment. haha For introductions, we were with Halls 1... Chris's old apt... hhh... but we all threw in some random facts about ourselves and made people guess. I said I've been to 14 countries outside the United States. :) And, that I have two fake teeth. I couldn't think of anything else. The first fact was good! Everyone thought it was Paige...Anyways... rather eventful indeed.
The next weekend we went to a black light dance party in the Enclave Clubhouse. :) Emily Kiser threw it. It was pretty fun... The music was kinda weird at first... not super danceable. So Laree and I were only there for like 10 minutes. Then we took a break... went back for like another 10 minutes and left... then Shelby came home and wanted to go for a bit... so we went. Again. haha! Anyways... going back the last time was more fun. haha That sunday was Jenni Newell's birthday so I made her come to my house and party... I made her a cake. And we watched Rocket Man. It was pretty cool. haha
The next weekend was pretty fun too. :) We had heard of like... 20 different dance parties going on so we got some of Shelby's friends and went in search of the best one! We found the first one... grand total of what... 5 people there? lol FAIL. So we went to find one somewhere else... never found it. So, we decided to scratch the whole idea and just go get fooood! On our way back we decided to check out the original dance party. It looked way better so we decided to jump in for a sec. We were all having a lot of fun, but then... the cops showed up. haha OOOPS> someone forgot to get a permit to host an outdoor dance party!! haha what were they thinking? LOL that ruined that party real quick! SO, we went to 7/11 and got hot chocolate and DONUTS!! And watched another movie. probably another dumb one cuz well... netflix is famous for that! :P
This week has been pretty interesting as well. Mom and Dad were in town all this past week which has been wonderful. :) They're looking for new office space for the company, so I can't imagine it's been very pleasurable for them, but it was fun for me! hah Mom came with me to my ballet class to watch our midterms. Our teacher had filmed them the week before so we didn't have to dress down that day or anything. Mom and I went shopping and found the PERFECT brides maid shoes for Jen's wedding!!! hehe I'm so stoked! We just hung out. Dad took us all to this AMAZING restaurant called Communal. SO GOOD. Seriously, the best food I've had in a LOOONG time. SO good. I got steak!! Dad was like "What are you getting?" and I was like "umm... I'm kind of eyeballing the steak..." and he was like "DANG I raised you right!!" haha it was happy! :D Anyways... I got my wisdom teeth out this last friday... (the 25th) so I was really glad mom and dad were there to help me with that. :) Everything went super smoothely and I didn't swell at all! it was awesome!! I got put under so I don't remember much... haha I remember them saying "30 seconds" until I would fall asleep, but apparently they kept talking after that and said "goodnight" to me. But I was already gone! haha Mom said I cried coming out of anesthesia, but not like bawling... just tears streaming out of my face. Mom and Dad said I showed them how to get to Walgreens, but I don't even remember coming out of the doc's office, getting in the car... being in the car or getting out of the car to get into the hotel mom and dad were staying at. HAHA!! I can find Walgreens in my SLEEEP!!! any other store and I totally wouldn't have... guaranteed. hhh... oh walgreens. :) I think I finally actually came too in the hotel. I found ice packs on my face... and my lips were numb so I didn't know what they were. haha!
Anyways... it's been a woooozy weekend! haha But good. :) Mom and Dad left Friday afternoon sometime... I finally got out of the house yesterday for Ward Prayer and Sunshine stuff. Then I went to ballet today, but I only sat and watched cuz... didn't think I'd do too well. haha! anyways... I should go. I've got a crazy week ahead of me. HERE I GOOO! :)
