Marching on to Glory

March was such a good month!! I had so much fun!!

Besides getting my mission call, which got its own post... and was AMAZING... I got to perform with the BYU Luau!!

 First dance for Tahiti

Second dance for Tahiti - I got a solo!!

 Front and center baby!

First and second dances for Hawaii

Once again, front and center baby!

This picture speaks for itself. I almost popped. So giddy.

 My awesome and ...

 ... wonderfully supportive siblings!

 Curtain call

Mom and dad flew down! SO sweet. Even though this is a strange pic.
And my roommates came!

 Everybody came!

And they all sat on the front row! haha

The Ahuna's were there!! I danced with Michael in Tahiti

Awhh... Tahiti. I'm gonna miss the Luau. So much fun.

Luau was amazing. I'm so glad I did it. It felt so cool to have such legit Tahitian costumes and everything - and it was so much fun working my way to the front row! haha I so loved this experience. It was hard work though. Four hours of Luau practice every single Saturday starting at 6 AM. Honestly, I have no idea how I actually woke up that early every saturday for 10 weeks. And then, the last few weeks before Luau, we had 4 hours of practice on Saturday, then 4 hours during the week. It was insane. Anyways... hard work. But so worth it. Nothing could ever beat working with Mahina and Na Hula O' Wahine Ilikea though. I miss Mahina and my hula sisters! I'd give anything to be back home and dancing with them and with Mom every saturday. hhh...

Next in March - Em, Amy, Aaron, and I went to the Mariners Game!!!!!!!! AHHH! It was so much fun. I LOVE BASEBALL!!!

We were in SLC for the Mariners game, which was kind of cool!
The stadium was tiny, but it was cute. haha

 MARINERS!! Aren't our T-shirts AWESOME?
So so awesome.
Best money I've ever spent.
We got hot dogs!!! And we even have the battle wounds to prove it! :P

Love me some hotdogs. Aaron and I had to fight for these. Almost literally.

Taking pictures thru Em's binoculars!

Such a good day. The best part? WE WON!!! WOOOOT! We played the Rockies. And it just reminded me how much I love baseball - and how much I love my Mariners!! Such a good day.

THEN!! As if they day couldn't get any better, it got even better!! Is that even possible? Aaron and I decided to finish off our Trafalga passes with one last epic adventure to Trafalga. And epic it was.

Our first stop was outside... and this was just a funny sign.

 mini golf!!

 Aaron's sweet shot.

Mini golf pose. I actually did pretty well!
It was my first time ever keeping score, so that was fun!

Then we went rock climbing!!

We ran around all crazy, and then Aaron's old roommate Jake came and partied too! It was so fun. We played laser tag, more mini golf, and ate some amazing food. Know why? Because with our season passes to trafalga we had $15 food vouchers. And we had to use them all up because our passes were expiring. So we bought the unlimited menu!! haha They had an 'all you can eat' option for $13. I don't know why people don't ALWAYS pick that. Seriously? We ate SO much food! And you could keep coming back for more. It was incredible. And with that food voucher, we got $20 worth of game tokens. So we played TONS of arcade games and won some fun prizes for Jarom, Kaydance, and Payson. Seriously? This was the best day EVER.

Brazil Porto Alegre North

Dear Sister King:

You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Brazil Porto Alegre North Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months.

You should report to the Brazil Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Portuguese language.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

 Opening the mailbox

So so so happy it was there!!

Em and Amy and Bear came down, and Aaron and Paigey and the Hills came over!!
And of course my roommies were there. So great. And the whole family, including Katelyn, was on a Google Hangout!

Opening that call was SO scary. It took me forever to actually open it, I was SO nervous! I hadn't eaten all day cuz my nerves were so bad... ahhh! Those were the hardest two weeks of my life.

I was really in shock for a while. I wasn't expecting Brazil at all, which was weird because so many people from Sequim have gone to Brazil, and most of all, Aaron went to Brazil!! He was SO excited and I definitely was too - I just was in a bit of shock. haha PORTUGUESE!!!

After everyone went home, Aaron took me out to dinner which was so nice. We got Chinese food. Duh... what else after a call to Brazil? hahah it was Panda Express which is both of our favorites. Or, one of them. Anyways, we talked about Brazil all night long. Not literally. But I got SO excited! Now that it's been a while, I can't even believe I didn't know all along it was Brazil. It's always been Brazil. Brazil is right, and I cannot wait to get there! I am so excited to learn Portuguese and I am so lucky to have a brother who served there and can answer all my questions! Almost exactly 4 months until I leave!
