Miracles of April

Wow... it's been a while.

April was quite a miraculous month. So many miracles in such a short amount of time. We'll start at the beginning. 

Well, we'll start at the end. haha end of March, I got a new COATTTT!!! Mine finally died. We'll have to have a burial service for it. I got to go to the Saturday Morning session of conference!

Beginning of the month, I got my wet ear precautions lifted!!! This is the first time in about 9 years I've been allowed to swim without ear plugs! hehe I still probably wont, but it means I can go to the temple again!

April 19-23 I went to Washington!! I was SO excited to be in Seattle, and mom picked us up at the airport which was way fun! Then, she was acting all distracted and... a tad strange as she wouldn't get out of the pick up lane. All of the sudden she said "I'm just gonna pick up this hitch hiker here!" and instantly I knew it was Jen!! I practically rolled out of the car while it was still going and bawled my eyes out to see Jen there!! I could NOT believe she flew all the way from New York for that weekend!! Holy cow!! I bawled my eyes out for a good ... 10 minutes after we were back in the car and on our way home? haha I was SO excited!! Shar Bear got to come up too which was SO amazing!!

 I love this girl. I promise I'm not breaking her neck... it just looks that way! Oooops! Sorry Kayda!

So, that about sums up Washington!! I think one of my favorite parts was the campfire and smores night where we sat around at Port Williams and sang Hawaiian songs with Dad's ukulele! :) So much fun!!! 

Then, I had to say goodbye to Laree. :( I'm gonna miss that girl. :( On our last night together we went to the mall and played!! hehe We got one last filmstrip photobooth shot. hhh... I miss her so much. :( 

April 30, Aaron and Ariel had the most adorable birthday party for me!! Ariel was so sweet and decorated everything SO beautifully! There was delicious food and cake and candy and root beer in cool bottles to signify the 21st birthday! bahaha AND the best part, she had my friends all invited! Emily and Amy came up too!! So sweet! I'll talk more about my birthday in May. haha I'm so behind!!

Tap Dancing!

So naturally, since it's finals week, I'm finding all the time in the world to blog!! haha seriously, I am just gonna blog this right now so I can stop thinking about it and study for Speech Anatomy! But we all know that as soon as this is posted I'll go decide to make potato chips. *sigh* Oh well...

This semester I've been in a tap class! I LOVE it! It makes me feel like I'm 8 years old again and dancing in Sister Jarnagin's tap/ballet class! Which, is one of the best feelings in the world. I want to be 8 years old again! haha but I recorded all my dances and I'm gonna try to get them to post in here. I've never posted videos before! So we'll see how this goes! :D

This first one is still my favorite one we ever did. I LOVE this song and dancing to it was the best! My friend is Caitlin. She's pretty much da bomb. (Can you say 'bomb' on blogger? I guess we'll see.) We've had some good times! haha here we go!

The next one we did was J. Biebs! haha actually, it was REALLY fun to dance to! We learned it to a slower song, but tested to this faster one. Also, I got new shoes at this point! I got docked on my first test cuz my shoes weren't loud enough. I don't know if you can hear the difference, the music is pretty loud in this one, but I recorded it with my real camera cuz we were supposed to critique ourselves after this one. I hope it uploads!

Next, we did the Shim Sham!! I LOVED this one SO much! hehe it was so much fun to do with all the hand motions and stuff. Supposedly this is a really famous tap dance. I love it. Also, we learned it in two class periods. LEGIT.

Then, it was on to our final! We had a lot of time for this cuz we learned the Shim Sham so fast! But, it was HARD!!! haha our amazing teacher, Kellianne, choreographed it and it was so fun to dance to! Sorry this video is bumpy. :( 

When Will My Life Begin - Tangled

Dahhh! I loved tap SO much!! I had so much fun! It was fun too because there weren't very many of us in the class so we all became really good friends! It was sad to leave... I loved doing my tests with Caitlin... she always prayed on test days so, we always did well! haha Anyways... WOOOOT!

*Sigh*... I missed March.

No literally... I missed it. Where'd it go?! Also, I had a goal this year to journal update on the blog at least once a month. Apparently that lasted two months? hahah oooh dear. Here's what happened since last time. :P
