Vacations!

What an amazing summer where my title has to say Vacations - plural! haha I've been all around the country this summer. Utah to Idaho to visit Grandma, back down to Utah. Then to Georgia (layover) Virginia, Georgia, Florida, New York, (was I in Connecticut for a while too? Yes. Yes I was.), back to Utah, Idaho, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Idaho. Wow. But that's another story. (: This is Florida.;

 The cutie pie kiddos!

I made everyone stand in the wind so we could get a picture in front of the temple!
I'm glad I did. haha

 Her hair.

Eating with the family at Bubba Gumps! YUUM!

 Emily.

Hula hooping outside of Bubba Gumps!

I honestly could do that forever.

She's a pro.

 Butter Beer at Hogsmeade!
Cheers! Butter Beer is SO delicious. We got frozen butter beer later cuz it was ridiculously hot. But the frozen stuff was so good too! This place is amazing!

 The castle.

 Hogwarts Express train!

This place was the coolest place ever. The detail was so perfect and I felt like I was actually visiting Hogwarts! The rides were SO much fun and... basically I can't wait to go back. Also, Andrew got picked to try out a wand at Olivander's shop! He did a good job. (: And even got the wand. SO COOL!!!

 Dr. Seuss land!

 The sibs

 Truffula trees!

The train around Dr. Seuss land with Kayda

Kids playing in the talking fountain! So fun!

Well, I cut off Kayda's head but at least I got Em's!

 Our dessert!  Not-so-hidden mickeys.

Braylon! Such a cutie. Dad gave him a chicken bone.

 The sleeper.

Our hotel was totally Africa themed! We stayed in Animal Kingdom and they had activities for the kids every night! So cool! This was a little band night.

My new favorite animal. haha jk...
but doesn't he look like he'd be a super hilarious bird?!

 We went on a safari!!

 And saw elephants!!

 little ones playing. (:

 I found Simba!

 And Pumbaa!

 My beautiful mother

So cute!

These guys were just chilling outside of our hotel room! We had a balcony and we could just go sit and watch them all day long. So peace fun. The giraffes were my favorite out there.

But there were also Zebras. (:

 And those guys...

The Brazil section of Small World!

 Gaston's chair!!!!!

I am madly in love with the new Beauty and the Beast section of Disney World!!

The banquet hall in Belle's castle! I almost cried. It was so so so perfect.

The dessert at Rainforest Cafe. I decided that the next time I get dumped I'm coming here JUST to eat one of these by myself. Cuz how could you be sad when you have a lava flow of chocolate coming out of your brownies and ice cream? ... wow... That almost makes me excited to be dumped again! If only I'd known sooner. I'd be fat.

 Da Bus!

Quotes along the wall in our hotel

This was the bath tile in Mom and Dad's bathroom! Lion King!!

He's growing up so fast! *tear

Florida was amazing. Amazing amazing amazing. It was cool getting a glimpse of Brazil heat and humidity too! Such a good vacation. I so loved getting to be with the entire family and getting to relax and enjoy life again. So perfect.

After our Florida trip was over, we went up to New York with Jen!! We stayed a night in NYC and got to see the AMAZING Cinderella on Broadway!

Thunderstorms in the city are 200% better than thunderstorms not in the city!! I was jumping up and down I was SO excited. It echos throughout all the buildings and lasts forever!!! So cool!

 Time Square!

Walgreens in NY!!! I needed a picture, but I was too scared to take it cuz ... it's NY.
So Jen took it for me. :)

I finally found mission shoes in THE MACY'S.
Downtown NYC. Where that one movie was filmed.
It was so insanely packed, I couldn't even believe it. There were more people in that store than in the entire city of Sequim. Which, I understand isn't that hard to do. But... if you count all the old people, it's also not easy. Anyway. So packed.

The view out our hotel room. I think we were floor like... 32. Crazy.
The elevators moved so fast my ears popped!

 BROADWAYYYY!!!

Cinderella was so magical. I swear there was magic. Her gown changing scenes could have been done in no other way. The talent was incredible and the story was different enough from the original that it kept me completely entertained! I wish I had the music from it. The Prince's part was so much better in this version - he had a couple of his own songs which I loved. He was also ridiculously attractive which definitely helps me adore the show. haha Anyway, Cinderella never dropped her shoe!! Well, she did the first time, but she ran back and picked it up. My mind was blown. But the Prince held a banquet and she came back, and didn't drop her shoe that time, but she ran back and placed it on the steps. haha
I think my favorite role was the Fairy Godmother. She was AMAZING. And she started out an old crazy woman.
Best lines of the show: "You'd be surprised how many beautiful gowns have crazy women in them!" (To which Jen leaned over and said "BYU in a nutshell!") bahaha
"I married my first husband for love. He died and I cried. I married your father for money. He died, and I got this house!" hahahahah oooh logic.
Anyway, I was completely enchanted by this show. I'd see it again and again. So much fun!

 Time Square at night!

Then we went to Albany and hung with Jen and Vic! Their house is so cool! They have a POOOOL! It was still too cold to swim. But someday I'll be back. Meanwhile, Tucker and Vic had fun in the water! haha Tucker can apparently walk on water...

He's the king of Pride Rock.

Oh what fun these trips were. I'm one lucky kid - getting to travel the country before leaving it for 18 months! I had so much fun. These adventures are the best. :)
